SUMMARY: This is the new Ameriquartz-powered version of our military-inspired A12 Dirty Dozen field watch, which was first introduced into the Vaer lineup in 2019. Why have we transitioned to Ameriquartz? If you’ve been following Vaer for a few years, you’ll probably recognize the term Ameriquartz. Between 2020 and 2023, we sold over ten thousand Ameriquartz watches across the C3 and C5 lineup. Last year we transitioned the core of our USA-assembled quartz models (ex. C5 Tactical) to solar movements. However, we always intended to keep the option of a USA-built movement alive within the Vaer lineup. We believe the C3/C5 Dirty Dozen is the perfect design to re-introduce this unique movement option into the Vaer lineup. While it is a quartz watch, and it’s not Swiss, in our opinion, by leveraging hand-built Ameriquartz movements, the C3/C5 Dirty Dozen represent a continuation of the historical craftsmanship of the original World War II models.

If quartz technology had existed in 1939 when the original models were being commissioned, it definitely would have been the choice of military commanders. I think this is a really strong case, and it is probably the best-looking thing. Best-designed watch roll I've seen at its price point! The design of the area is really well done, and even if you know you have large watches. It should work just fine.
Ralph actually started this company for watch collectors, but he doesn't want them to spend an arm and a leg on travel rolls, and that's exactly what they did! The package is pretty cool. Everything is very well constructed, from the outer box to the inside.
It feels sturdy and of good quality. I like the soft, smooth, buttery feel of the leather. If we take a look at these sides, we can see that everything is pretty neat. There are no errors in this stitching. And all have gone to the other side. There are no errors there. Just pretty nice.
My simple review for this is: hey, It's a nice watch winder, so with this product, you get a whole bunch of storage; you can store 8 watches in a nice, well-protected area. And you get 2 winders with good quality mabuchi, very nice and quiet, very rugged, very tough motors. And you're not spending the whole bank on it.
