I’ll start by saying that the Mirage Watch Stand is a nice product and seems made well, especially for the price point. That said, it is NOT a true Travel Watch Stand when you think of ease of assembly, disassembly, and the ability to pack easily. For a stand to hold your Watch at your home or office, it’s pretty great. For travel, it’s not a functional item. I love and collect Watches, so I always feel I can give insight into Watches, Straps, Watch Winders, Display Cases, Travel Cases, etc. My collection is vast, and I own various Watch stands. The Mirage stand is made well, substantial, and looks great on my desk. In the photos, I show you how it arrives and is assembled. There is an included Allen wrench to remove the stand and pillow from the base, but it doesn’t make sense for travel. Do you really want to pack a heavy marble stand, the metal pole with the Watch pillow, and an Allen wrench so you can have a stand in your hotel room? No, you won’t. The stand will make your bag heavy, and attaching the stand to the base each time you travel will be a pain. The stand looks nice, but I’m not a huge fan of a giant logo on the base that states, “luxury travel.” Yeah, it’s not luxury travel. I don’t mind logos on items, but the round logo, the company brand name, and the words “luxury travel” are a bit much. It takes away from the clean look and feel of the Watch stand. I know it’s all personal taste, and others might not mind the giant logo on the base. For me, it’s not aesthetically pleasing. Again, that’s my personal preference. I have suggestions for the manufacturer, but I doubt they want my opinion. Pros: Well-made Watch stand. The base is heavy to allow support of heavier Watches (dive, Chrono, precious metals, etc.), and the pillow is soft against the metal of your Watch bracelets and case back. It’s a nice stand for the price. Cons: It is NOT a travel stand, and the logo is too large and takes away from the beauty of the stand.
