INSPIRATION: In building the C3 Korean Field our goal was to bring attention to the Korean War, and deliver a more affordable counterpart to our WWII-inspired automatic A12 Dirty Dozen. In addition to historically accurate dial design, the caseback on this model features a unique deep-etched engraving. Replacing the Vaer logo at the center is an etching of the Korean Peninsula which serves as a reminder of the sacrifice and commitment of thousands of allied soldiers who served in the conflict, and the countless casualties resulting from the war. Since its original launch, the Korean Field has earned a permanent place in the Vaer lineup thanks to its combination of "set-it-and-forget-it" outdoor functionality and a connection to the iconic history of military timekeeping.
